Perfect Father's Day gift....For my husband who hardly ever gets to golf due to the cost.... two winning prizes over the last year for rounds of golf (one of which he will be using right around the Father's Day) and a push cart (never even knew what to call it before) for $20. Great find, from a couple who are downsizing with tons for sale, and fortunately just what I needed for a great gift for a great husband and father. (who now does not need to carry his golf bag around the golf course, but push it along!)
We live in a small ranch and I have been trying to reclaim some space in the basement for awhile now to turn into a family room space. With no budget to do this, it's been difficult. We started out with a couch my friend Ruth gave us when she had moved to assisted living. Then my son and his friend moved and we got a coffee table. Bought the pink rocker on the right for $20 from someone moving to an in-law apartment. Found the nice white end table (with great storage) at a yard sale for $10 last week. Added a $5 energy efficient lamp and you have a modest re-do for $35. Now it's a great study and hang-out space for my teenagers.
